Well based on what you've said I would say she cares about you and possibly likes you but your not her top priority when it comes to guys, your her "got to guy" when she's lonely (cuddling) or needs a nice guy (the dance recital). When you said the shooting star thing you probably freaked her out. It sounds like she likes you in a brother sort of way. She cares about you though.
