Is my friend using me or am I just being overthinking this?

Hey everybody. Before I start I just want to say sorry for the lengthy entry, but here goes. So my friend and I have known each other for about 2 years now and I thought we were really close. We met each other in college, but I was a year ahead of her and I graduated before she did. When I left, we still stayed in contact with each other and talked almost every single day for up to a few hours at a time. Well, during her last semester, she decided to pledge for a coed fraternity and she said that she didn't have time to talk to me anymore because she was going to be so busy pledging. So I said ok because I knew she really wanted to do this and I was hoping she would still have at least some time for me. At this point, I don't know if she really was super busy with her frat brothers and sisters or if she just didn't really want to talk to me that much anymore. All I know is that she stopped returning my calls and took like days to answer my text messages. To her credit though, she did manage to give me a call every 2 or 3 weeks where we'd talk for like 1/2 hour. Anyways I told myself it must just be because she's really busy. Well after a few months, she found out she didn't get in and I thought well maybe now things will go back to normal and we get to talk every day again, but it didn't. She kept doing the same thing of not returning my calls or texts, and her bi weekly calls to me stopped all together. Anyways, it's getting closer now to the point where she is going to move to my area, and she has started trying to talk to me again on a more frequent basis after months of barely speaking. I'm thinking that the only reason she's doing this is because she has no one else to talk to and I feel like I'm her consolation prize or something. I’m pretty sure I already know the answer to this, but I’m really hoping that I’m just being paranoid. So does anyone else think she just tossed me aside when she found something better and is trying to pick me back up again now that it's going to be gone?
