Will jergens natural glow make me orange? ( pale skin) Maybe a spray tan?

I have had some nightmares regarding self tanners ( don't wanna repeat them again!) but a lot of people say this gradual tanner is best for a subtle, nice glow. I have really fair skin ( like nicole kidman fair) but I would like some form of a tan for when I go down to florida next month. Any advice? I was also thinking of getting a professional spray tan by a TECHNICIAN ( i don't trust machines, heard horror stories) Any thoughts on that as well?
