wow, are we the same person or something??? this SAME thing happened to me! i had known her for 8 years and she was my only friend because she wouldn't let me have other friends. She got jealous easily. as we got older we still did everything together and she would always ask if i was mad at her and that we needed to talk. this annoyed me SO MUCH! her name is kayla btw . so she texted me pretending to be a girl named zoey that was supposedly her long lost sister (bs) but i played along with it. and she still denies it to this day. then she made a fake facebook account and friended me saying she went to the same school as me. then she did the same thing by asking me all these questions about if i really liked kayla and all that crap. it was her too. after all this, we were in high school and i was just completely done with her. i was in the same position you're in now. dont try to distance yourself from her because she will not take it well and it will just make a lot of drama. flat out stop talking to her, dont tell her anything, dont interact with her. i separated myself completely from her and just hung out with all my other friends. she found another group to hang out with and that was that. now we can talk to eachother and sign eachothers yearbooks without killing the other. but were not friends. more like acquaintances :) its so great, hope this works for you
