Whats going on??? Boy troubles someone help!?!?!?

OK so im a sophomore cheerleader in high school and we have a coed team and Iv completely fallen for one of our guys that just joined (now wen u think of guy cheerleaders they are normally either gay or football players but hes totally different) he grew up in a tough ghetto neighborhood and his father was a total tough guy now has trusting problems and doesn't like getting that close to ppl but we've actually become really close and he such a sweet heart and he sits there and lets me vent and helps calm me down when i get in my depression suicide state and has never told anyone hes even told me he fully trust me and pinky promised (which is big for him because b4 we were fight caus pinky promises weren't manly enough for him)..... but he has a bad past where hes been like a totally stoner drinker man whore and like now hes such a nice guy that hes always with girls and now i guess he and my two best friends are keeping a big secret from me that could break my heart...... sooo im just wondering wat i should do like should i continue to like him or should i try to move on........ and if you think he may like me please tell cause i seriously have no idea hes one of those unreadable guys...
