Why people think PAKISTAN is a terrorist nation?

Pakistan is a land of peace and culture. It is a rich society where violence is condemned...What I don't understand is why does the media always falsely portray Pakistan as a terrorist nation when the countries main agendy is to help society progress...If their is a violent nation then wouldn't it be India? India is responsible for destroying the image of pakistan. Why does the U.S feel doubtful about the ISI(Pakistani Intelligence)? Why doesn American media make it seem as if Pakistan is home to terrorists? Why are people so ignorant?
