I'm not sure where you're from or what grade you're in, but my gym classes have always been co ed from elementary school all the way through high school. Maybe people don't want to have co ed gym classes in your school because its something different than you're used to. I have never known anyone not to want co ed gym because girls like to look at the boys and boys like to look at the girls. It's one thing if your religion says you can't, but otherwise I think its good to have boys and girls in gym together. It helps your social skills to socialize with the opposite sex and is good for some variety. If you're only exposed to other girls all the time, then it's not going to be healthy for when you get into the real world and have to get along with men as well.

Help with this little thing in my novel?

The novel I'm writing takes place in fantasy story that takes place in an era similar to Victorian England at a boarding school that was originally for both boys and girls. I know that this is something that wouldn't ever happen in the real Victorian England, so I'm starting to question it. I'm thinking about making the one school into two and having the schools meet for certain lessons and events(such as etiquette and dance classes, events like teas and balls). The good side to having two schools is that I can divide the characters more easily and only focus on a few at a time. The bad side is that I have a male character that eventually becomes a love interest for the main character. They should need to see each other often and being at different schools wouldn't help. But they could also sneak out and see each other which would add interest....So what do you think? Coed, or no coed? If I touch up my highlights will they match the rest of my hair?

My hair is naturally dark/medium blonde. I dyed it light brown a while ago, and since have used a Revlon Frost & Glow kit with the highlighting cap where I pulled my hair through, to give it highlights. It made my hair a medium/honey blonde color which I LOVE. However, my dark blonde roots are starting to grow out. They are not super noticeable, but you can definitely tell. I want to use the Revlon Frost & Glow kit again (I am a college student and cannot afford to go to a salon) but I'm afraid the ends of my hair will get TOO blonde. Any suggestions??? Hello! I am 19 years old and am moving out within the next month. I lived in a coed dorm for a year and my hall itself was 75% male. I transferred schools and moved back home. My parents have always warned me against living with a boyfriend and have always refered to my future housemate as a she. However my parents and I are having problems and I am moving out sooner then planned. The person I want to live with is a he. It's expensive to apply, but you should apply to as many schools as you can in your area. You'll want to be able to be close enough to your family that you can visit on random weekends/holidays/etc. Also you'll have to accept whatever school accepts you. You can choose all you want but if you don't get accepted it doesn't matter. I had a decent gpa and SAT and all and applied to over 15 colleges. I was accepted at 5 of them and made my choice from those.

Hey everybody. Before I start I just want to say sorry for the lengthy entry, but here goes. So my friend and I have known each other for about 2 years now and I thought we were really close. We met each other in college, but I was a year ahead of her and I graduated before she did. When I left, we still stayed in contact with each other and talked almost every single day for up to a few hours at a time. Well, during her last semester, she decided to pledge for a coed fraternity and she said that she didn't have time to talk to me anymore because she was going to be so busy pledging. So I said ok because I knew she really wanted to do this and I was hoping she would still have at least some time for me. At this point, I don't know if she really was super busy with her frat brothers and sisters or if she just didn't really want to talk to me that much anymore. All I know is that she stopped returning my calls and took like days to answer my text messages. To her credit though, she did manage to give me a call every 2 or 3 weeks where we'd talk for like 1/2 hour. Anyways I told myself it must just be because she's really busy. Well after a few months, she found out she didn't get in and I thought well maybe now things will go back to normal and we get to talk every day again, but it didn't. She kept doing the same thing of not returning my calls or texts, and her bi weekly calls to me stopped all together. Anyways, it's getting closer now to the point where she is going to move to my area, and she has started trying to talk to me again on a more frequent basis after months of barely speaking. I'm thinking that the only reason she's doing this is because she has no one else to talk to and I feel like I'm her consolation prize or something. I have a tank that is 3 gallons with glow fish in it. I cycled the tank and the fish are doing well. The water is getting a bit mercy and I don't have an allergy eater. Repeatedly scary dream?

I have had this dream for the past 5 nights now and it is really creeping me out. i wake up in a misty forest. every tree is dead. i walk along to a house. there is an old woman sitting out side in a rocking chair. She has massive red eyes. she just looks at you. still in the 'dead forest' it all is. i go into the house, dunno why, but i do, anyway, i walk in and it is really dust and gloomy. no light. i walk up the stairs and they creak loudly. I'm 15 and i have really dry skin.. but for my routine i use neutrogena (to take off makeup) and clearasil daily face wash. Also, i use neutrogena's pink grapefruit face scrub but since my skin is so dry, i dont use to too often. To moisturize i use clinique's dramatically different lotion and for toner i use neutrogena's alcohol free one. You can find really good scrubs like the apricot one at any drug store, and the mint mask you mentioned is really good! I've tried it a few times.. hope i helped(:

Outdoor Coed Baby Shower ideas?

This is my second child, another boy, but they are being born at completely different times of the year so I can't really reuse any of the clothes. No one has said anything about throwing a shower for me this time around, so a friend of mine and I are going to plan one. Trying to help Fiance's addict son?

First off Im so sorry. Ive been there. I was a meth addict for a long time, like 17+yrs. The way I got clean was, I seen the way the drug changed the way I think. Like, people I liked while sober I hated while high. Unfortunately I had to go to prison 3 times for a total of 7 years to see this. Meth is the devils drug, we all know that. Rehab most likely wont work unless he wants to change. Now you need to make him want to change. Doing that isn't going to be easy, and it will take everyone involved in his life to get involved. Watch a few episodes of A&E Intervention for tips and pointers. Get in contact with an interventionist to help you. There is only two things that will happen if you all don't get involved. He will go to prison where he will have to fight and or **** every day...... or he will die. I lost my only sibling to a drug OD on top of it. And even after he gets clean, it wont be easy to stay clean. This will be a struggle every day for him for many years. Best of luck.

Anxiety disorder- please help me?

I just have to put a disclaimer before this- I would really like only mature people to respond to this, because I'm being completely serious, and being told "you're crazy" or "you just want attention" will probably make me start crying. :( I'm fifteen years old (I'll be sixteen in two weeks), and I'm female. I'm afraid that I have an anxiety disorder- I've been a worrier since I can remember, but my worries got really bad after I got my first period when I was thirteen. They subsided when I got into high school, but started up again badly six months ago. Ever since then, I haven't gotten any peace. Nothing reassures me, and even if I make myself not think of what's stressing me out (and it's usually something ridiculous and hypothetical, at that), a new worry pops up or the old one keeps nagging me. I used to be such a happy, optimistic person, but now I feel miserable and stressed. I feel even worse, because my mom sees just how stressed I am, and it worries her. I've tried everything I can do to stop- I thought I was smart deal with it myself. I'm constantly stressed out, or the thought is at least nagging at me, and it exhausts me beyond belief. Every day is a struggle. I'm Catholic and used to have a strong faith, but now even that is so doubtful, because I'm afraid that God isn't going to help me, or that this is His plan for me. I'm an A student and in all honors/ AP classes, as well as in choir, so I already have enough stress in my life without making more of it for myself. :( I'm going to start going to therapy over the summer, but I'm scared- will it ever get better? Should i talk to him before i leave for the summer and he goes to basic training for six months?

there was this guy that i used to talk to every single day for about 2 or 3 months. and he reeaally liked me but i wasnt sure. So before hand, I would like to explain that I am of African American and Middle Eastern decent. Therefore, I have a pretty dark skin tone. I really want somewhat lighter complexion. Brief Sickness after Sunbed?

Recently used a sun bed (Well, sun booth, it was one where you stood up)... I was only in for 3 minutes... as it was my first time using a sun bed, and im not planning on using it as a regular thing, just to take the edge of the white glow for summer low, so that i have a slight 'slow'. I woke up abruptly last night at around 2:30 am because I had gotten a text and the ringer was really loud under my pillow.. and im a light sleeper anyways, and right when i opened my eyes the first thing i saw was in the far corner of my room there were i'm guessing.. about 15 balls of light forming a perfect circle and inside were even smaller balls of light forming a smaller inner circle.. the big ones were i guess.. about a dimes size? my room is painted a dark color and i have complete black drapes, my room is in the back of the house, no street lights COMPLETE black room at night. it wasn't something i could have just .. seen because of opening my eyes from sleep.. because it wasn't just the circle figure.. it was actually bright enough to leave a glow in the corner of my room behind it... it was there for about 10 to 15 seconds and then.. gone it didn't fade it was just gone. every night sense i've had this room (for about 3 weeks now) i've felt different always like somethings there. always. i have two cats and they started meowing like crazy outside my room during and after the light was there.. honestly i don't know if this part has anything to do with it.. but the sequence of it all just is too strange to think it doesn't.. after the light went away my dad got up(which never happens in the middle of the night) and he went downstairs for a good ten minutes. he was completely silent.. no doors opened like the fridge or garage or anything no cupboards nothing no footsteps, and i just sat waiting for him to make a noise or anything.. and then i just heard him walking up the stairs. his beds really squeaky like real bad and you can tell if somebody sits on it or actually gets in it, and he just sat, at this point its all still pitch black in my house and then he gets up again and he goes over to my sisters door and stays there (mind you she has a friend sleeping over and their both obviously sleeping, so creepy) .. and then he went to bed. i asked him what he was doing last night and he was like what are you talking about? so idk could have been sleepwalking. the light part in my room was too organized and something other than a bunch of orbs, it was something else. im sure of it. i want to know what this all was.

Question about cable modem?

Having been on dial-up for years (my internet needs are relatively uncomplicated by today's standards) I am finally surfing quite a lot faster via my local cable company who made an offer I couldn't refuse. I have a Motorola SURFboard SB5101 modem provided by them, and my question is about the "PC Activity" indicator light. The modem is always on, of course, so I expect the indicators for "Power", "Receive", "Send" and "Online" to remain glowing even when my computer is turned off. I also understand that when the computer is up and running, you are always online, even if you don't specifically have your browser open for surfing; the PC Activity light flickers rapidly on and off in a random pattern, which is also understandable and looks quite normal to me. What I'm wondering is why, when I shut down the computer (not standby or hibernate, it's shut completely down), the PC Activity light continues to flicker away exactly like when the computer is running. Since the computer is turned off, there's no electrical power going into the computer, so there should be no activity to register on the modem. At least that's how I see it, and I admit up front that I don't know much about broadband.

Okay the music video has all the band members glowing in the face, and the eyes are blinking at different times. Can I touch up my roots with Revlon Frost & Glow?

I have natural dark blonde hair. I recently used Revlon Frost & Glow with the pull through cap to give it some highlights. I love it! It worked great, and since I'm a college student who can't afford the salon, I love it even more. However, it's been a few months and my dark blonde roots are growing out and it looks kind of dumb. Can I use the same kit again to touch up the roots? The highlights have faded some and I figure I'll leave the bleach on the roots more than the ends to prevent it from being too blonde.
